If you’re a fan of the fitness scene then you have
probably stumbled upon pictorials of the innocently beautiful,
yet sensually erotic, Nicole Ferreira. Although she’s
new to the industry Nicole has appeared in print in a variety
International Magazines since August 2003. Not only is Nicole
breathtakingly gorgeous, but she also has her Master’s
Degree in Social Work and was the Director of a Mental Health
Agency prior to modeling full time. Nicole is currently
a 2003 Top 10 Ms. Bikini America National Finalist, placed
13th at the 2003 Fitness America Pageant Nationals, Routine
Round, is the main writer for FitBeauties, and manages her
website www.nicoleferreira.com! So what we want to know
is: What doesn’t little miss perfect do? After reading
this interview you’ll discover that this captivating
fitness hottie can do it all.
First things first. Give us your physical stats:
I ’m quite petite. I’m 5”2, 110 lbs and
my measurements are 35-23-35. My bra size is 34C and my
dress size is 3-4. As you can see I have blonde hair and
green eyes. I'm a Cancer, and I won’t tell you my
age so you’ll have to guess.
Where are you from? I’m from a small New England
town in Massachusetts called Fairhaven. It’s about
an hour South of Boston. I’ve lived here my entire
life and I don’t think I’ll ever move. I love
the change of seasons, the history and beautiful landscape
on the east coast. And yes, you can catch my Boston accent
once in a while…it pops thru sometimes.
How did you become a fitness model? My story is truly
a fairytale. Two years ago I qualified and competed in my
first national fitness competition, and while I was standing
in line at registration I was gently approached by a soft
spoken British man. Little did I know that this gentleman
was the most renowned photographer in the industry, Rob
Sims! “Hello”, he said, and I smiled, giggled,
and responded “hello”. The next words out of
his mouth were, “Oooh, would you like to do some fitness
modeling?” I exclaimed “yes”, and he gave
me his card and cell number and we set up a shoot for the
following day. Our test shoot went so well that he requested
that I return to his studio the next day for more images.
He made me feel so comfortable and confident that I just
had to do it. I never thought I'd be in a magazine but those
pics became my first 8 page layout on the newstands! We
worked so well together that he asked me to return to LA
for a week, and that week turned into 5 other photo shoots
that year. Hence, a fitness model was born.
Describe your personality. I’m a kind and happy
person, who generally tries to see the positive side of
things. I love to laugh and I love watching comedies. I
tend to stay away from all things and people that generate
bitterness and negativity. I’m also very driven, if
I want something I get it. I’m a cat lover and owner
of 4 beautiful Scottish Fold kitties. I love rock-n-roll
music. I’m always listening to KISS, AC/DC and Aerosmith.
Rock on!
What do you find most attractive about a man? Physically
I love a muscular build, dark hair and dark eyes. I love
long, dark, naturally curly hair on a man (beautiful long
hair, not 80’s yucky hair), and I like a little bit
of "scruff" on the face. I like the bad-boy, romance
novel type. Johnny Depp is my favorite actor. Emotionally
a man needs to be confident, chivalrous, and make me feel
like I’m number one.
In the bedroom, do you like it soft and sensual, or hard
and nasty? (Hahaha) This is personal, but honestly I’m
a hard and nasty girl. Although I’m in complete control
of everything in my day to day life, in the bedroom I like
to be dominated. A man who is confident and takes charge
is my biggest turn-on.
How do you get “in the mood”? I start
off by doing my hair and make-up so that I’ll feel
and look hot, hot, hot!!! I like to look natural and smell
sweet. Touchable hair, vanilla scented body cream, and some
shiny cotton-candy lip-gloss will do the trick. I’ll
put on a feminine push-up bra with either “boy-style”
undies or thong panties so that my bum looks really, really
round. I like to wear delicate lace fringed anklet socks
with my 7 inch high heels. Next comes the loud rock-n-roll
music! I love to look at myself in the mirror and seductively
dance and pose…then I’m ready to be taken.
What do you like to do for fun? I’m really a home-body.
I love to watch movies with the one I love and play with
my cats. If I’m going out, I like to go to a rock-n-roll
concert! The loud music, pyrotechnics and lighting is exhilarating!
I’ve been lucky to see many performances, like KISS,
Aerosmith, Pearl Jam and Poison up close.
What do you feel are your best physical attributes?
I think my tiny waist and my overall curvaceous body shape
are my favorites. However, to my surprise, I’ve received
fan mail complimenting almost every one of my body parts.
My neck, my face, my eyes, my smile, my rear-end, my back,
my shoulders, my legs. I’m just so surprised to learn
that beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder. Nevertheless,
my ass gets the most attention. I’m happy to know
that my booty has been featured in several magazine glute
pictorials. It makes me feel good that all the squatting
I do when I weight train has paid off!
What is your physical fitness training regimen like?
Basically I do 30 minutes of cardio 5-6 times per week,
interval training. I weight train 3 times per week and do
Pilates 1-2 times a week. My biggest secret weapon, however,
is the “Stripper-Cardio” I’ve implemented.
Yes, my special someone gets a private dance where I wear
my 7 inch heels, slither around like a snake and perform
pole tricks and flexibility moves up to 5 times a week.
Believe it or not my body has changed dramatically since
implementing this “non-traditional” style cardio.
I will be offering “Nicole Private Dancer” DVD’s
in the future so be sure to visit my site www.nicoleferreira.com
to check it out!
Where will you be competing next? My next competition
is the 2004 Bikini Universe Pageant in Miami this June.
After placing 13th in the routine round at the 2003 Fitness
America Nationals, I’ve decided to take the year off
from fitness competitions. I’m so lucky that my modeling
career is taking off, focusing on a physique competition
is more conducive to my lifestyle. Of course, I’ll
be shooting with Rob Sims in Miami in addition to competing.
Does Modeling help you in the competitions? No way! In my
personal experience it hasn’t. It has actually made
people more critical of me. My critique in competitions
is that I’m too sexy, not muscular enough and that
I need to lose more body fat. Initially this really bothered
me, but I’ve learned to take it for what it is: an
opinion. No, I don’t have ripped abs, hard glutes
and striated shoulders. I have a small waist and curvaceous
hips and thighs. So I compete to achieve personal goals
only! I concentrate on modeling because I’m consistently
rewarded. It best suits my body type and I love it!
Has modeling changed your sex life? I guess, in a
way it has “changed” my sex life. It has made
me feel more confident in myself and my body. So I’m
more confident in experimenting and trying different things
with my special guy. I'll let your X-rated imagination run
wild on that one.....
How else has modeling impacted your life? As mentioned
previously, I used to be the Director of a Mental Health
Agency. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work, and
worked in the field for six years prior to modeling full
time. For me, transitioning into modeling full-time is was
one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
I have always dreamt of being a model or using some of my
artistic talents in an occupational manner. Since I was
a young child I was involved with dance instruction, singing
lessons, cheerleading and drama. So modeling gives me the
opportunity to express this side of myself. I want to thank
Rob Sims for helping me make my dreams come true and catapulting
me into the fitness and glamour modeling scene!
Have people been supportive of your decision? That’s
an interesting question. It has been a very tumultuous road.
Overall people have not been that supportive of my modeling.
It’s only those few, precious people close to me,
who have supported me always. Initially, when I shared my
success with my direct supervisor at my previous job she
said, “Don’t tell anyone about this or show
anyone the pictures.” I guess her nylons were in a
twist that day! Also people who I thought were my friends
have become enemies, evidenced by comments like, “she’s
only a model because she poses like that,” as well
as their constant disapproval and stereotypes they create
about me and the industry. However, everyone’s discontent
has helped me see the light. I’ve realized that I
don’t want to be unhappy anymore or pretend to be
something I’m not. I WILL live my life by my own standards
and not by what other people think I should do. Yes, I’m
blessed with intelligence and no one can take my degrees
or academic accomplishments away from me. I’m still
the same exact person I was, but now I’m doing what
I want and love. And, yes, I love to be sexy!!!
What can we expect next from Nicole Ferreira? I’ll
continue to work with Rob Sims, so you’ll be able
to see me in future FitBeauties issues, and read my articles.
I’ll also appear in Rob’s new women’s
fitness magazine, FitBody. In website news, my paid members

hot to go in the magazine! Also, I offer personalized photo
